I have the honour to acknowledge the 32973 receipt of Your Lordship's Despatch No. 310 of the 19th June,

1919, and to inform you that the inconsistency in section 2 (d) of the Banking Business (Prohibited Control) Ordinace, 1919, to which Your Lordship has called attention, has bee referred to the Acting Attorney-General, who has reported on the matter in a minute of which I enclose a copy.
